BAY AREA YOUTH VAISHNAV PARIVAR (BAYVP) is proud to introduce a new volunteer program for teens called "Nikunj Yuva Seva."

This is a great opportunity for teens to earn college required community service hours while learning about their heritage and culture through seva.

Every Sunday the group will meet from 1p.m. to 3 p.m. to participate in various activities in the temple including helping younger children with homework, coordinating cultural activities, making art for festivals, making props for various cultural programs, event management, maintaining the mandir, and participating in various workshops such at college preparation and essay writing. These are just few of the things the group will start with. In the future, we will offer various volunteer opportunities for programs in the community. We will also coordinate and implement fund raising events for the temple. This will be an organized program that will keep track of volunteer hours and will offer letters of recommendation as needed.

Another major goal of this seva is to bring teens closer within our community and create lasting bonds with their peers by participating in social activities.
